There was a couple of options in the mid-range series of X570 motherboards, but I’ve picked the Gigabyte X570 Aorus Elite because of its great price and features. The company had a similar model with the B450 chipset that I’ve listed before in this list but removed after the release of B550 chipset motherboards as they offer better-overclocking power and features.

Considering that motherboard for Ryzen 5 3600 would not be the best because B450 motherboards lack many things, including overclocking and PCIe Gen4 slots. Investing a little more can get you multiple M.2 slots, better-overclocking power for Zen2 processors, and the SLI support, which B40 lacks due to a limited number of PCI lanes, though all AMD X570 motherboards have an advantage.

Aesthetically, this motherboard is no different from the B450 variant, but both give straightforward looks, and there are no RGB lights or premium stuff installed. The PCB of this motherboard is colored in black while it has a grey circuit running through the motherboard, and additionally, the orange lights over the IO cover and beneath the heatsink make it look better.

The controllers on this motherboard are not that expensive but the best in their class and get their job done without any problem. This motherboard also forgets many things like a USB Type-C port on their rear IO panel, many RGB lights, and debug LEDs. This motherboard’s good side is its affordable price, M.2 heatsink available, and integrated Wi-Fi and IO cover.

Most of the budget and mid-range B450 chipset motherboard comes with 64 GB memory support, while this one has 128 GB RAM support across four slots and at the frequency of 3600 MHz. When you compare this motherboard with X470, you will see that it lacks some features, but you also need to know that X470 and X570 cost the same these days.

The Asus Prime X570-Pro is an entry-level motherboard from an x570 chipset packed with amazing features and great voltage regulators. This motherboard’s PCB is wholly colored in black, while it has a white-colored heatsink and IO cover and diagonal lines on PCB which makes it best mobo for white builds. This motherboard has a pair of Realtek controllers for audio and network, which are budget-friendly and the best in their class.

However, as it has a B450 chipset, featuring more USB and SATA ports, and don’t forget about other features. Aesthetically, this board is straightforward and has a black colored PCB with grey heatsink and circuit printed. It lacks RGB lights and an integrated IO cover but still looks good.

This motherboard’s overall specifications are not much different from any other B450 motherboard as it offers the same 64GB memory support across four slots. Also, it allows you to install overclocked DIMMs up to 3200 MHz. You will miss the Nvidia SLI technology in this board due to limited PCIe lanes, but Crossfire is still available, allowing users to install multiple graphics cards.

The USB 3.1 Gen1 Type-C and other Type-A ports give this motherboard an advantage over others as they don’t have such connectivity options. As it’s a budget or entry-level motherboard, you will not see Wi-Fi in it; in fact, no other mid-range board is offering that for the same price.

Some users have reported that the BIOS of this board lacks some features, but mostly we even don’t need them, and also we can have them with third-party software’s. Aesthetically this motherboard is not so pleasing, and if you are looking for an RGB motherboard, I would suggest you ASRock Steel Legend B450. I appreciate that this board has a pair of M.2 slots, while most of the other B450 boards offer only a single slot.

This motherboard’s overclocking power is not so great as it can only boost clocks of Zen+ processors, while if you try this on Zen2 CPUs, it will be unstable. So if you are a serious overclocker, I would not recommend this motherboard for your build, but you can try MSI B450 Tomahawk.

ASRock motherboards’ build quality is way better than most competitors as they claim that they are using high-density fiber for PCB, which don’t have empty spaces in PCB layers and prevent humidity. All in one, this motherboard is a great option when you are saving money but looking for great features.

Gigabyte B450M DS3H is an all-in-one cheap motherboard that will make a solid base for your gaming build without even breaking the bank. This motherboard comes compatible with Zen2 processors out of the box, but you might not be able to overclock with it because of weak components.

If I’ve to pick this motherboard for a build, I would probably get it for AMD APUs because of its price, but still, if you are building some low-budget build, this one is a reasonable option. Getting this will help you in saving money for other components in the build. The only bad side of this motherboard is little to no overclocking support for Zen2 processors.
